Apple iPhone issues on apple music and iTunes store. There are several Apple services that are experiencing problems at the moment, the company’s System Status dashboard reveals. Some users of the Apple Music, iTunes Store, App Store and Volume Purchase Program services are experiencing intermittent issues. In all cases, problems are said to have begun midday U.S. time on Thursday.
The affected public services are experiencing intermittent issues aside from the ones mentioned above, others impacted include Apple TV, iTunes in the Cloud, iTunes U, and the Volume Purchase Program. When small numbers of users are affected, Apple generally indicates this with a percentage. In the past, for example, it has noted that an issue affects fewer than 1% of users.
The fact that it has not done so here suggests that significant numbers of users are being hit. A similar wide outage was experienced by Google users recently as well, with several services going down in many parts of the world. Ironically, the outage occurred just hours ahead of Apple’s iPhone X launch event, with services like Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, YouTube, and Google Maps affected.
