The Chinese manufacturer OnePlus 5 has now released OxygenOS 4.5.11 update. Even though many users in Canada have received the update, there was no official announcement of its arrival. In the previous month, the company had released OxygenOS 4.5.10 to bring camera improvements and system optimizations.
This latest OxygenOS update for OnePlus 5 carries the build number 4.5.11. It comes a little over a month after the smartphone received the OxygenOS version 4.5.10 update. To start off, the update fixes some bugs that have been annoying the OnePlus 5 users for quite a while now. Most importantly, there was a problem with YouTube video lagging behind audio, which has been solved.
Improvements on the OnePlus 5 include in the speedier launching of apps, and optimized adaptive brightness. OnePlus has also fixed the issue of YouTube videos lagging on the OnePlus 5. This update also comes with fixes for display issues on certain UI elements. The OxygenOS 4.5.11 update also fixes the issue of no 4G+ network in specific regions for OnePlus 5 users.
The OxygenOS 4.5.11 update also brings along security patches for the September month. These patches would be able to protect OnePlus 5 from the recent Blueborne vulnerability. After installing the update, users have also noticed that the apps are launching faster than before. The update also brings the ability to customize the notification ringtone.
